According to the circular, Wang Weizhen, former head of the Manufacturing Engineering Department of the Technology Center of Dongfeng Automobile Group Co., Ltd., and he Xin, chief engineer of the Commodity Planning Department of Dongfeng Commercial vehicle Co., Ltd., are suspected of serious violations of discipline and the law, and are currently being subject to discipline review by the discipline Inspection Commission of Dongfeng Automobile Group Co., Ltd. and supervision and investigation by the Shiyan Municipal Supervisory Commission, and are being taken retention measures.

It is understood that in recent months, Dongfeng Company has cracked down on internal violations, discipline, corruption and other issues, and a number of senior officials have been investigated one after another. On September 28, Dongfeng Company reported five typical problems in violation of the eight regulations of the central government, including the head of the former chassis Development Department of Dongfeng Commercial vehicle Technology Center and the former Chief engineer of Dongfeng Automobile Technology Center. On September 15, the Shiyan Municipal Supervisory Committee issued three examination and investigation messages in succession, informing Zheng Xianwen, head of the assembly technology department of the Special equipment Division (Dongfeng off-road vehicle Co., Ltd.) of Dongfeng Automobile Group Co., Ltd., Zheng Guangzhong, vice minister of procurement, and Qin Jian, vice minister of manufacturing equipment technology, that three people were suspected of serious violations of discipline and had been filed with the party for review.

Earlier, Zhou Wangsheng, deputy general manager of Dongfeng Special equipment Division (Dongfeng off-road vehicle Co., Ltd.), was investigated by discipline review and supervision on suspicion of serious violations of discipline and law; Chen Jianxian, deputy chief engineer of Dongfeng Company, was also examined on suspicion of serious violations of discipline and law. Chen Jianxian also holds several positions, including deputy director of Dongfeng Automobile Technology Center, president of military vehicle Research and Development Institute (first Research Institute), and deputy general manager of Dongfeng Special equipment Division (Dongfeng off-road vehicle Co., Ltd.).

On the issue of anti-corruption, Zhu Yanfeng, chairman and secretary of the party committee of Dongfeng Company, said that in the face of the problem of corruption, the attitude of the party committee of the company is always clear-cut, no matter who is, no matter how high or important his position is, as long as he violates party discipline and state law, will be seriously investigated and severely punished. It stressed that at the ideological level, it is necessary to resolutely get rid of the wrong "special theory" and not think that the business of this unit is "special" and there is a reason to engage in "special".
