This is the third former head of the brand marketing department under Dongfeng Automobile Group to be officially announced for investigation since the beginning of this year. On April 9, Zhang Yuguang, former head of Dongfeng Citroen Brand Marketing Department, was investigated on suspicion of serious job violations; then on May 20, Yang Ning, former vice minister of Dongfeng Citroen Brand Marketing Department, was investigated on suspicion of serious job violations.

According to public information, Zhang Yuguang has been the brand marketing director of PSA Peugeot Citroen Group Asia Pacific since October 2010 and the head of Dongfeng Citroen Marketing Department. In September 2013, he was appointed Director of Public Affairs and Corporate Communications of Peugeot Citroen Asia Operations Department. In January 2015, he joined Changan PSA DS Brand Division as Vice President of China and Southeast Asia, in charge of marketing, communication, brand management, etc., and then joined the advertising agency as Senior Vice President.

Yang Ning, a former vice minister of marketing for Dongfeng Citroen, was deputy general manager of Chery Marketing Company at the time of the investigation. he served as vice minister of marketing for Dongfeng Citroen in 2016, then joined Chery Xingtu as brand director and soon returned to the Chery brand.

Dong Anyin has served as the Manager of the Public Relations Planning Office of the personnel and Public Relations Department of the Dragon Automobile Co., Ltd., and the Director of the Public Relations Division of the Dragon Automobile Co., Ltd. According to the title listed in the official announcement, it should point to the problems during the term of office of Dongfeng Peugeot's deputy marketing department, and his last public interview was in January 2020 when Dongfeng Yueda Kia's marketing minister talked about live delivery.
