In terms of appearance, the Polar Fox Alpha S advanced version is upgraded on the basis of the ordinary version. The most obvious change is the three rectangular lidar on both sides of the front and directly in front of the front, and the new rear view camera is added at the wings on both sides. According to the financial report, Beijing New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. suffered a net loss of 2.57 billion yuan in 2022, while Beijing Blue Valley Polar Fox Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. suffered a net loss of 2.75 billion yuan.

Since its backdoor listing in 2018, Beiqi Blue Valley has been shrouded in the haze of losses and has suffered losses for four consecutive years, including net losses of 92 million yuan, 6.482 billion yuan and 5.244 billion yuan respectively from 2019 to 2021, plus accumulated losses of more than 17.2 billion yuan in recent four years in 2022. In terms of cash flow, Beiqi Blue Valley is also under pressure. The balance of cash and cash equivalents dropped sharply to 2.655 billion yuan at the end of 2022, compared with 4.302 billion yuan at the end of the third quarter of 2022. In this regard, Beiqi Blue Valley explained in the financial report that the decline in net profit of parent company was mainly due to the decrease of gross profit and the continuous increase of investment in brand and channel construction.

In fact, except Beiqi Blue Valley, most domestic new energy automobile manufacturers are in a state of loss, but different from mainstream automobile enterprises, in the background of loss, Beiqi Blue Valley market performance is also very general. In 2022, BAIC Blue Valley sold 50,200 vehicles, up 92.1% year-on-year, but only half of the sales target of 100,000 vehicles set at the beginning of the year. In 2023, BAIC Blue Valley will no longer announce its sales target,"the top of the priority".
