Due to the structural reasons of the parts, there is a sharp contact surface between the internal lens and the gasket of the rearview camera within the scope of this recall, resulting in damage to the anti-reflection coating on the lens, affecting the image quality of the camera and interfering with the driver's observation of the rear of the vehicle. There are hidden dangers.

Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. will entrust Lincoln brand authorized dealers to replace the rearview cameras for vehicles within the recall range free of charge to eliminate safety risks.

Second, a total of 2556 Lincoln navigator cars manufactured between December 4, 2014 and June 25, 2017 will be recalled from August 11, 2023.

Within the scope of this recall, due to improper positioning of the electromechanical brush holder spring of the air-conditioning blower machine, the brush spring or brush holder may be short-circuited and partially overheated, which in extreme cases cause a fire in the passenger cabin of the vehicle, and there is a safety hidden danger.

Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. will entrust Lincoln brand authorized dealers to replace the improved air conditioning blower motors for vehicles within the recall range free of charge, in order to eliminate safety risks.

Starting from August 18, 2023, a total of 69045 Lincoln MKC cars manufactured between June 5, 2014 and June 4, 2019 will be recalled.

Due to design reasons for some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the printed circuit board of the battery monitoring sensor may be short-circuited due to improper operation in the process of after-sale maintenance, resulting in overheating of the surrounding materials and, in extreme cases, a fire in the engine compartment. There are safety risks.

Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. will entrust Lincoln brand authorized dealers to install battery monitoring sensor circuit overload protection fuses for vehicles within the recall range free of charge, in order to eliminate safety risks.

As early as the 1980s, Lincoln entered the Chinese market by way of import, but due to outdated models, low cost performance and other factors, Lincoln was forced to withdraw from the Chinese market in 2008. In April 2014, Mark Fields, then Ford CEO, saw a new opportunity in China's luxury car market and urged Lincoln to return to the Chinese market and enter China again as an import. By 2015, Lincoln has introduced all SUV to China, including medium-sized luxury SUV Lincoln MKC, medium-and large-scale luxury SUV Lincoln MKX, full-size luxury SUV Lincoln navigator. Lincoln's sales in China have grown steadily for many years since then, but compared with Cadillac, Lexus, Volvo and other second-tier brands, Lincoln's presence in China is very low.

At the end of 2019, Ford made a bold decision to localize Lincoln. In March 2020, the adventurer Corsair, the first domestic model of the Lincoln brand, was launched, and the adventurer Corsair was the successor of MKC. Since then, Chang'an Lincoln has successively made domestic pilots and navigators, and their sales have continued to climb and surpass the domestic market of the United States. In 2020, Lincoln sold 61761 vehicles in China, setting the highest sales record since Lincoln entered China and becoming the fastest-growing luxury car brand in the country.

Data show that from January to July 2023, Changan Lincoln sold a total of 36122 vehicles, with the highest sales of adventurers, 17181 vehicles, while Lincoln Z and Navigator sold 8748 vehicles and 7282 vehicles respectively. On May 11, the new adventurer Corsair went public with a suggested retail price of 24.58-345800 yuan.
