According to previous media reports, the new car will be developed based on an improved version of the Heartect platform, and the official map of this release is a concept version, but it has been reported that the mass production version will largely retain the design of the concept car, and the new car is expected to go into production in 2024.

Compared with overseas models, the new Swift concept car has a new fishmouth-style honeycomb grille design on the front face, a new style of LED headlights on both sides, and a higher position of the front logo, which makes the overall fashion feel OK. On the side of the car body, the new car body is painted in two colors and has a sense of streamline, and the design of the hidden outer handle of the back door is cancelled, and the handle of the back door is moved from the side of the C column to the regular position. In addition, the new car is equipped with radar sensors in the rearview mirror and the upper part of the front grille, and there is a camera under the outer rearview mirror, which means that the new car will be able to assist driving. In the rear part, the interior details of the new car's taillights are more complex and visual effects are more abundant, with a "Hybrid" badge on the right side of the rear door and a black treatment around the lower part.

In the interior part, the new car updates the interior color matching, and is equipped with a multi-function steering wheel and a double circular mechanical pointer dashboard. In addition, the new car will also provide a suspended multimedia display screen and a new style air conditioning control area. The central air conditioning outlet is located at the lower part of the multimedia display.

In terms of power, it has not yet been officially announced, and the new car is expected to be upgraded to a light mixing system, with a choice of 1.2 liter engines and 1.4T engines. Among them, the 1.4T light mixing system may be carried on the new generation of Swift sports models.

In the same year, due to poor sales and sustained losses in performance, Suzuki eventually transferred its 50% stake in Changan Suzuki to Changan Motor at a symbolic price of 1 yuan, and Changan Suzuki changed from a joint venture company to a wholly owned subsidiary of Changan Automobile. Since then, Suzuki has officially withdrawn from the Chinese market.

Although Suzuki has been out of the Chinese market for many years, there has been news that Suzuki has returned to the Chinese market many times in recent years. It is not clear how the concept version of the official map model will enter the Chinese market.
