Qichen VX6 can be regarded as the mass production version of Qichen Ve concept car unveiled at the 2022 Guangzhou Auto Show, the appearance basically continues the angular styling style of the concept car, and the sharp broken line design is adopted on both sides of the closed front grille, which is full of sense of the future. The split headlamp group cooperates with the penetrating lamp belt, the recognition degree is quite high. At the same time, trapezoidal vents and diversion grooves on both sides can further optimize the aerodynamic performance of the vehicle.

On the side of the body, Qichen VX6 adopts two-color body design, the lower edge of the window is embellished with penetrating chrome trim, hidden door handles and wheels with low wind resistance, the whole side of the car looks more sporty. As a compact pure electric SUV, Qichen VX6's most direct competitors include Nezhu (11.88-185800 yuan), AION Y (11.98-202600 yuan) and Song PRO (12.98-165800 yuan). Although the price of the new car is not known, Qichen VX6 is expected to have a very high price range with the above models.

In December 2022, Dongfeng Nissan announced a comprehensive transition to the new energy sector, and will no longer develop new pure fuel cars. In the future, it will launch no less than two new new energy models a year, creating a system capacity of 300000 vehicles per year, with a medium-and long-term goal of selling 500000 vehicles a year. In addition to the Qichen V DD-i super hybrid, the first pure electric model, the Qichen VX6, will be launched this year.

According to the official website, Qichen models currently on sale include Qichen Big V, D60/D60 EV, Qichen Star, T60 and so on. The Qichen brand sold 49552 vehicles in the first three quarters of 2023, with the highest sales of the Qichen V (19934 vehicles), followed by the Qichen D60 EV (13141 vehicles), and none of the other models exceeded 10,000 vehicles, according to the Federation of Carriage data.
