As for why there is a cooperation between Xiaomi Automobile and Haima Automobile in the market, the industry believes that it may have something to do with Xiaomi Automobile contract Factory. Of course, at present, the contract manufacturer of Xiaomi car has been confirmed. On November 15 this year, Xiaomi SU7 appeared in the new catalogue of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the product models are BJ7000MBEVR2 and BJ7000MBEVA1, and the enterprise name is Beijing Automobile Group off-road vehicle Co., Ltd., in other words, Beijing Automobile Group off-road vehicle Co., Ltd. has become the contract manufacturer of Xiaomi Automobile.

Haima Motors was founded in 1988. As an old car with a history of more than 30 years, Haima Motor does not have a high sense of existence in the auto market. At present, Haima Motors' models for sale include Haima 8s, Haima 7X, Haima 6P, Aishang EV and so on. However, except for the Eyson series, other models have poor sales. Sales of seahorse cars totaled 22227 from January to November, down 0.16 per cent from a year earlier, including 2001 in November, down 22.77 per cent from a year earlier, according to official figures.

In March this year, Haima announced the signing of the Framework Agreement on Strategic Cooperation in the Research, Development and industrialization of hydrogen fuel Cell vehicles with Toyota (China). The two sides will carry out extensive strategic cooperation in the field of research and development and industrialization of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles to jointly promote the rapid popularization and industrialization of hydrogen fuel cell passenger vehicles. Under the agreement, Haima will work with Toyota to build the 7X-H, the first hydrogen-powered passenger car between the two sides.

As the first hydrogen fuel cell passenger car cooperated by Toyota in China, the Haima 7X-H functional prototype car was trial-produced in April 2023, and the product announcement test has been completed. At present, the seahorse 7X-H has appeared on the declaration list of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the car will be equipped with a hydrogen fuel cell stack system from Toyota, and the drive motor will come from Fudi Power. According to the plan, Haima and Toyota will work together to build third-generation hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and plan to complete the operation of 2000 vehicles by 2025.

According to the latest news, Haima Motors said on the interactive platform that the Haima EX00 product is the company's automotive product, which is in the process of research and development and is scheduled to be produced and delivered at the company's Zhengzhou base after the R & D work is completed.

In addition, Haima Motors revealed: "the company's hydrogen fuel cell vehicle field related work is in progress, and the related cooperation and communication, patent application and demonstration promotion program communication are being stepped up. The first hydrogen fuel cell vehicle launched by the company is the seahorse 7X-H model."
