According to the data, before joining Avita Technology, Chen Zhuo worked in Changan Automobile, serving as the general manager of the public relations department of Changan automobile brand, the head of the marketing department of its joint venture brand and the head of the marketing department of international companies. He has rich working experience in brand public relations, marketing, strategic planning and so on. In February this year, Avita Technology announced that Chen Zhuo officially joined Avita Technology as the company's senior executive vice president, reporting to the company's chairman and CEO, Tan Benhong, to assist and cooperate with Tan Benhong in the company's major project promotion and key business operations.

In the middle of this month, Avita Technology also made personnel changes. On December 12, Avita Technology announced that Zhu Huarong served as Chairman of Avita Technology, and Tan Benhong no longer served as Chairman and CEO of Avita Technology, and served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Changan Automobile. In addition, Wang Xiaofei, vice president of Changan Automobile, will assist the chairman of Avita Technology in the company's business operation, major project promotion and key business operations.

Avita Technology Co., Ltd., formerly known as Changan Lai New Energy Automobile Technology Co., Ltd., was established on July 10, 2018, and changed its name to Avita Technology on May 20, 2021, and became a brand under Changan Automobile. It was jointly built by Changan Automobile, Huawei and Ningde Times. On August 24, 2021, Changan Automobile officially released the Avita brand, positioning the high-end automobile brand, in which Changan Automobile is responsible for vehicle design and production. While Ningde Times is in charge of battery supply, Huawei is mainly engaged in deep cooperation in the HI (Huawei Inside) model, providing full-stack solutions including intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving.

So far, the Avita brand has two models, Avita 11 and Avita 12. The first model, "Avita 11", was launched in August 2022 and positioned as a pure electric medium-sized SUV with a price range of 34.99-409900 yuan. as a model built by Huawei, the car carries Huawei HI (Huawei Inside) full-stack smart car solution, intelligent cockpit based on Huawei HarmonyOS and Huawei AOS intelligent driving operating system. The four-wheel drive model is equipped with Huawei DriveONE three-in-one electric drive unit and maximum power 425kW. With a maximum torque of 650N ·m, the battery supplier comes from Ningde Times, which provides two versions of 555km and 680km under CLTC operating conditions.

Avita 12 went on the market on November 10 this year, positioning luxury medium and large pure electric cars, with a price range of 30.08-400800 yuan, offering two versions of rear-drive and four-wheel drive, in which the maximum power of rear-drive 230kW, the maximum power of motor before and after four-wheel drive are 195kW and 230kW respectively, equipped with ternary lithium battery pack provided by Ningde era, and the range is divided into 650km and 700km.

This year is a year of intensified competition for electric cars and a critical year for Avita, which will try its best to challenge the annual sales target of 100000 vehicles. From the perspective of market performance, from January to November this year, Avita delivered a total of 19463 vehicles, all from the Avita 11 model. According to the recent investor relations activity record table of Changan Automobile, Avita 12 has been on the market for 30 days, and Dading has more than 20,000 vehicles. However, according to the current market performance, Avita is still under a lot of pressure.

Of course, as a high-end automobile brand of Changan Automobile, Avita shoulders not only the mission of building cars, but also the most important thing is to transform Changan into new energy. It should be noted that in terms of the speed of new product promotion, compared with most of the new car-building forces in China, Avita's product launch is not fast, but it says it will accelerate. According to the previous plan, Avita originally planned to launch four new models in 2025. Avita revealed that it would speed up the product launch and planned to release two new models in 2024. The strategy and planning target of "four cars in four years" in 2025 will be completed ahead of schedule.

As for the joint endorsement of Changan, Ningde era and Huawei, whether Avita can shoulder the banner of Changan new energy development still needs more time to give the answer.
