Since February 19, 2024, a total of 14 imported Class A, C, CLA, GLE SUV and S Class vehicles with production dates from June 6, 2013 to June 12, 2018 have been recalled, and 36 domestic Class C, GLA and GLC SUV vehicles with production dates from January 14, 2015 to August 26, 2020 have been recalled.

The reason for the recall is that some vehicles within the scope of the recall may have used incorrect adhesives or other maintenance deviations during the previous maintenance of the dealership. as a result, the front guide rail protection cover plate of the polycarbonate sunroof located between the front windshield and the panoramic skylight is not properly bonded, and its adhesion with the car body may gradually weaken over time, resulting in partial or complete separation of the cover plate from the vehicle. Increase the risk of collisions or injuries to other road users, and there are safety risks.

In view of the above defects, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd., Beijing Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd., through Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers, follow the correct operation procedures and use the correct adhesive to replace the skylight front guideway protection cover plate for the affected vehicles free of charge to eliminate safety risks.

On December 8, 2021, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. and Beijing Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. recalled: 1. Recall some imported and domestic A-Class, C-Class, CLA, GLA, GLC SUV, GLE SUV, S-Class vehicles with panoramic skylights during the period from November 6, 2013 to September 16, 2020. Second, recall a total of 99 imported and domestic Class C, E, CLK and CLS vehicles with production dates from January 17, 2006 to August 17, 2006.

The reason for the recall is that due to the incorrect coding set by the rear electronic control unit of the vehicles within the scope of this recall, the rising position of the rear spoiler is too high, blocking the high rear brake lights, increasing the risk of vehicle collision, and there are hidden dangers. In view of the above defects, Porsche (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will, through authorized dealers, re-encode the electronic control unit at the rear of the vehicle within the recall range free of charge to eliminate safety risks.

In addition to the two major luxury brands, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, Nanjing Automobile Group Co., Ltd. has filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products. From now on, a total of 62 Iveco Turbo Daily vehicles manufactured from September 9, 2020 to December 27, 2020 will be recalled.

The reason for the recall is that there are injection molding residues in some vehicles within the scope of this recall due to the injection molding residue of the metal spacer on the rear cover of the engine timing guide wheel bracket, resulting in the guide wheel bracket and the spacer sleeve do not fully fit. During the use of the vehicle, the guide wheel bracket may produce displacement, which will lead to timing system failure in extreme cases, resulting in engine flameout or even damage, and there are hidden dangers in safety. In view of the above defects, Nanjing Automobile Group Co., Ltd. will check for vehicles within the recall scope free of charge whether the metal spacer on the back cover of the guide wheel bracket fully fits with the guide wheel bracket, and whether there are injection molding residues around the metal spacer. If it is not fully fitted or there are injection molding residues around the metal spacer, replace the rear cover of the guide wheel bracket to eliminate safety risks.
