It was a rainy day in Los Angeles at that time, and the metal body had been initially corroded after being caught in the rain, so he recorded the whole process, hoping to ensure that his car could be dealt with during the warranty period, and booked a warranty service for this. In the meantime, the netizen also tried to clean the outside of the car body to confirm whether the spots were rust or dirt. However, Tesla after-sales staff said that this kind of warranty needs to go through the process, and the staff did not bring repair tools, and said Tesla had not dealt with such repair work before. Finally, the staff recorded the situation and said, "We will repair the tools after we get them next month."

But the owner disagreed, saying he had driven the Cybertruck for only 381 miles, only 11 days after picking up the car and finding it rusty, and spent most of his time parked in front of his home, probably due to cold weather, rain and orange rust in direct sunlight. Some netizens also found that Cybertruck's stainless steel body does not have a transparent coating and can only be cleaned by polishing for the affected car owners.

According to previous officials, the Cybertruck has a stainless steel body and will not be painted, and the body glass can withstand the impact of baseball or category 4 hail at speeds of 70 mph. Tesla officials have not initially responded to the above incident.

It is understood that Cybertruck is Tesla's first electric pickup truck, which will be released at the headquarters in Los Angeles on November 22nd, 2019. Tesla China has previously said that Cybertruck is classified as pickup in the United States, but it may change in China because of factors such as restrictions on pickup models in China, while due to production capacity, regulations and other factors, Cybertruck will not enter the Chinese market in a short time. In addition, Tesla CEO Musk also said on social media that it is difficult for Cybertruck (cyber off-road wagon) to hit the road legally in China, but Tesla will still send prototype cars to China for display to meet the curiosity and expectations of Chinese consumers.
