The reason for the recall is that in some vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the insufficient strength of the right suspension fixed bracket of the drive motor, it may crack after long-term use, and the shaking of the crossbeam in the engine room increases. In extreme cases, the connection cable between the vehicle charger and the water heater is pulled, resulting in connector failure, resulting in the loss of power of the high voltage protection while the vehicle is driving, and there is a safety hidden danger. In view of the above defects, Dongfeng Automobile Group Co., Ltd. will replace the fixed bracket suspended on the right of the drive motor for the vehicles within the recall scope free of charge, and at the same time check the connectors of the connecting cable between the vehicle charger and the water heater, and replace discolored and corroded parts to eliminate safety risks.

It is understood that Dongfeng Fengshen is one of Dongfeng Motor Company's independent passenger car brands, established in March 2009, positioning independent high-end brand, Dongfeng passenger car company is responsible for research and development, production, in the Dongfeng independent passenger car business occupies a core position. In 2008, Dongfeng named the new independent passenger car brand "Dongfeng Fengshen", and the brand "Dongfeng Fengshen" was released in March of the following year. Dongfeng Fengshen E70 is a new energy model of Dongfeng Fengshen, positioning compact car, the price range is 14.28-153800 yuan.

Retail data show that Dongfeng Fengshen sold a total of 114753 vehicles in 2023, of which the Dongfeng Fengshen E70 was 31584, accounting for 27.52% of the total sales.

On the same day, FAW-Volkswagen Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products. From March 29th, 2024, a total of 5084 imported Audi e-tron electric vehicles manufactured during the period from August 7, 2019 to October 21, 2021 will be recalled.

The reason for this recall is that some vehicles within the scope of the recall, the power battery module may appear abnormal self-discharge phenomenon, in extreme cases, resulting in power battery thermal out of control, there is a fire risk.

In view of the above defects, FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. will entrust FAW Audi franchisees to implement temporary recall measures from March 29, 2024: regular free testing of vehicles within the recall area (once every four months). If the battery module is replaced when the battery is abnormal, before the final recall measure is implemented, it is recommended that users limit the charge to less than 80%. From the third quarter of 2024, the final recall will be implemented: install on-board diagnostic software for vehicles covered by the recall, which will detect potential problems with the battery module, warn the driver before the risk occurs, and replace abnormal battery modules.
