On June 6, Xiaopeng officially announced that the world's top designer Juan Malopez joined Xiaopeng Automobile as vice president of Xiaopeng Automobile styling and Design Center, responsible for the management and design decision of Xiaopeng Automobile Design Center.

According to an official press release, Juan Malopez, from Spain, has 24 years of experience in industrial design, including 15 years in the field of automotive design, successively at Genesis Design, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Audi, Seattle and other car brands, and has designed many world-famous classic supercars.

Rich experience in automotive interior and exterior modeling design and global design team management. It is understood that Juan Malopez joined Seattle in 2000 and served as head of Lamborghini interior design from 2002 to 2006. During his tenure, he led the design of Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, Lamborghini Murci é Lago barchetta and Lamborghini MIURA concept cars. In 2004, Juan Malopez became Audi car interior design manager and designed Audi Avantissmo, Audi A4, Audi Quattro concept cars. He resigned as interior design manager of Audi Group in 2006. He then joined Seattle as director of interior design, which lasted until 2010.

Since 2010, Juan Malopez has joined Ferrari, BYD, Changan Automobile and other companies. Among them, he served as head of exterior design for Ferrari from 2010 to 2018, global director of exterior design for BYD from 2018 to 2020, and led the design of exterior design for BYD-E-SEED GT concept car. He served as director of creative design for Changan Automobile from 2020 to 2022 and head of Genesis Design Europe from 2022 to 2024.
