First, some of the 2.0T two-door Robin Hood Wrangler cars produced from January 21, 2020 to May 2, 2022 were imported, totaling 537. Second, some of the 2.0T two-door Sahara horse herder cars produced during the period from January 14, 2020 to March 1, 2022 were imported, totaling 315.

The reason for the recall is that some vehicles within the scope of this recall have installed unnecessary frame studs due to manufacturing reasons. The frame stud may come into contact with the fuel tank in the vehicle collision accident, which will lead to fuel leakage and safety risks. In view of the above defects, Chrysler (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will inspect the frame of the recalled vehicles free of charge and remove unnecessary studs to eliminate safety risks.

This is Chrysler (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. launched the fourth recall this year. Prior to this, Chrysler (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. recalled imported 4XE hybrid vehicles three times.

Chrysler (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. recalled some imported 2.0T 4xe Rubicon four-door Wrangler and 2.0T 4xe Sahara four-door Wrangler Hybrid Electric vehicles, totaling 4723. The details are as follows: first, there are a total of 391 2.0T 4xe Rubicon four-door hybrid vehicles produced from January 13, 2021 to May 26, 2022. Part of the 2.0T 4xe Sahara four-door hybrid electric vehicle produced from January 19, 2021 to August 15, 2022, totaling 4332. The reason for the recall is that during the driving of some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the communication between the hybrid control module and the transmission control module may be lost, causing the transmission control module to issue instructions to shut down the power, resulting in the loss of power while the vehicle is driving. there is a safety hazard. In view of the above defects, Chrysler (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will refresh the software in the transmission control module, hybrid control module and auxiliary hybrid control module for vehicles within the recall range free of charge, in order to eliminate safety risks.

Chrysler (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. recalled some imported 2.0T 4xe Rubicon four-door Wrangler and 2.0T 4xe Sahara four-door Wrangler Hybrid Electric vehicles, totaling 1604. First, some of the 2.0T 4xe Rubicon four-door hybrid vehicles produced from January 14 to May 18, 2022 were imported, totaling 1596; second, the partial import of 2.0T 4xe Sahara four-door horse herder hybrid vehicles produced from May 10, 2022 to May 18, 2022, totaling 8.

On May 26th, Chrysler (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. recalled a total of 98 imported 2.0T 4xe Rubicon four-door Wrangler and 2.0T 4xe Sahara four-door Wrangler hybrid vehicles. The details are as follows: first, some of the 2.0T 4xe Rubicon four-door hybrid vehicles produced from May 20, 2022 to May 24, 2022 were imported, with a total of 10 vehicles. During the period from January 10, 2022 to September 20, 2022, some of the 2.0T 4xe Sahara four-door hybrid horsemen hybrid vehicles were imported, totaling 88.

The recall on May 26th belongs to the expanded recall of some imported horsemen 4XE hybrid vehicles issued by Chrysler (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. on March 29th, 2023. Both recalls are due to the failure of fuses due to incorrect installation of high-voltage battery fuse fasteners in some vehicles within the recall scope, resulting in the loss of power and safety risks. In view of the above defects, Chrysler (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will inspect fuses and fasteners for vehicles within the recall range free of charge. If fasteners are installed incorrectly, correct fasteners and fuses will be replaced free of charge; if carbon traces are found on fuses and bus contacts, high-voltage batteries will be replaced free of charge to eliminate safety risks.
