In the future, car, travel version and SUV version models will be introduced to enrich the product camp of Crown brand.

In terms of appearance, the Crown SportCross adopts Toyota's latest family design language, the forward air grille uses a black spindle layout, the headlamp group is connected to the forward air grille to form a penetrating design, and the front center is marked with a brand new crown LOGO. In addition, the front of the new car is surrounded by a large heat dissipation and ventilation opening design, and the bottom is embellished with penetrating chrome-plated decorative strips to further enhance its stylish personality.

On the side of the car body, the new car adopts a slip-back car body structure, the roof line extends backward from the B column to meet the rear of the car, the vehicle waistline extends from the front wing plate to the rear door, and the front and rear wing plate of the new car is slightly wider than the car body. with large-size rims and black eyebrows, showing a strong cross-border style. It is worth mentioning that the new car provides two-color car paint, but unlike the traditional up-and-down two-color layout, the color design is only shown on the side, while the engine hatch, roof and back-up compartment cover are designed in black. There is no denying that the new generation of crown is younger, but it is also farther and farther away from the target customer group. Will young people still buy the crown?

Of course, the change in the crown is the inevitable result of the rapid change in the market, and it is also the only way for the crown to return to the market, but it is believed that Toyota cannot guarantee whether consumers will pay for this change and whether it will be able to restore its former glory. It is understood that the new generation of crown does not have a domestic plan, but through the introduction of domestic sales through imports, it is certain that FAW Toyota has become cautious about the crown, which is not what it used to be.

At present, FAW Toyota Crown brand series has been increased to three models, including Crown Lufang, Crown-Weil and the newly launched Crown SportCross. In the future, cars, travel versions and SUV models will be introduced to enrich the product camp of Crown brand. In terms of sales volume, the sales of imported Crown-Wilfa and Crown SportCross for FAW Toyota are basically negligible, while the domestic Crown Lufang has accumulated sales of 18604 vehicles from January to May in 2023, with monthly sales basically maintained at around 4000.
