It is understood that Nissan Pathfinder concept car was launched at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show before, specially built for the Chinese market, it is expected that the production version will be released in the fourth quarter of this year, after the launch of competitors will aim at Toyota Highlander, Volkswagen Touang, Ford Explorer and other joint venture models.

In terms of appearance, Dongfeng Nissan Pathfinder is highly consistent with the Pathfinder Concept concept car previously unveiled at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show. The new car adopts the latest family design language. Its oversized size inverted trapezoidal air intake grille is connected with the headlight groups on both sides. A large number of chrome elements are used in the middle net for decoration. The center of the grille is NISSAN luminous LOGO. The air inlets are retained on both sides of the front. The new car looks very rough and hard.

From the side, the body lines are straight and smooth, equipped with uniquely shaped dense spoke rims, black wheel eyebrows and exterior mirror shells, and the tail lights on both sides are connected by a black decorative panel to create the visual effect of the through-type rear tail lamp group. In terms of size, Dongfeng Nissan Pathfinder has a length, width and height of 5130/1981/1767mm and a wheelbase of 2900 mm. It is positioned as a medium and large SUV and adopts a 7-seat layout of 2+2+3.

In terms of power, Dongfeng Nissan Pathfinder will be equipped with a 2.0T engine codenamed KR20 produced by Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 185kW and is expected to match a 9-speed manual self-contained gearbox.

Pathfinder is a medium-and large-sized SUV built by Nissan for the North American market. The brand-new generation Nissan Pathfinder was released at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show. This is also the fifth generation model of this product. It is built on the same platform as the brand-new generation Infiniti QX60 currently made in China. According to Dongfeng Nissan's official website, SUV currently on sale under the brand include brand-new Qijun (Compact SUV, priced at 18.19- 262,900 yuan), hackers (Compact SUV, priced at 15.49- 188,900 yuan), Jinke (Small SUV, priced at 11.98- 137,800 yuan), Loulan (Medium-sized SUV, priced at 2388 - 283,800 yuan), and Pathfinder, as a positioning medium and large SUV, will become Dongfeng Nissan's SUV with the largest size, and will also be Dongfeng Nissan's highest-priced model. Referring to the price range of Loulan 2388 - 283,800 yuan, if Nissan Pathfinder is made in China, the price is expected to be more than 300,000 yuan. If it costs $300,000, would you buy it?

According to Dongfeng Nissan's sales volume, although its SUV market layout has a variety of models, but the sales volume is only small guest and Qijun two models, and Qijun in the replacement of three-cylinder engine also fell into a downturn.
