According to media reports, Baoneng Automobile recently started recruitment work, promising that the salary of newly recruited employees can be paid normally, and half a month's salary will be paid first once they report for work. Insiders confirmed that recruitment has started, but they are not sure whether they can implement the requirement of "paying half a month's salary first". It can be seen from querying a recruitment platform that Baoneng Automobile still has a number of recruitment information in Xi'an and Shenzhen, including strategic planning manager, big data development engineer, etc.


In recent months, the situation of Baoneng Automobile is not optimistic.

On July 6, Xi'an Baoneng Automobile Co., Ltd. failed to return the real estate title certificate to Xixian New Area Natural Resources and Planning Bureau within the specified time limit, Xixian New Area Development and Construction Management Committee of Shaanxi Province decided to cancel the registration and announce the use right of three state-owned construction land owned by Xi'an Baoneng Automobile Co., Ltd.


According to a circulating "Baoneng Group System Arrears Table", from July 2021 to April 2022, Baoneng Group's overall arrears exceeded 1.3 billion yuan, among which Baoneng Automobile and Guanzhi Automobile in the automobile sector totaled more than 700 million yuan. According to Shanghai Securities News, a person close to Baoneng said: "The above salary arrears table is completely credible, and now there will only be more!"

On July 31, Yao Zhenhua, chairman of Baoneng Group, was surrounded at Shenzhen headquarters and employees demanded payment of arrears of wages. After that, Yao Zhenhua held a meeting to announce a reduction in team size, including mass layoffs for Baoneng Automobile. Baoneng Auto has responded recently that there has always been a recruitment demand, not the latest announcement, the company has been dealing with slack or disciplinary employees, and sometimes business contraction will clean up salesmen.


On August 29, three plots of land (323669.6 square meters) and unlicensed buildings and machinery equipment of Kunshan Juchuang Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Baoneng Automobile, were successfully auctioned at a price of RMB 610 million yuan. The bidder was Kunshan City Industrial Development Investment Co., Ltd.


On September 12, Kunshan Juchuang Energy Technology Co., Ltd. added bankruptcy reorganization cases. The applicants were Zhejiang Hanxin Technology Co., Ltd., Dazu Laser Technology Industry Group Co., Ltd., Kunshan Letian Catering Management Co., Ltd. and Kunshan Yiwei Advertising Media Co., Ltd., and the handling court was Kunshan City People's Court. It is understood that Kunshan Juchuang Energy was established in January 2019, and the actual controller is Baoneng Investment Group.


From the current point of view, Baoneng Automobile is recruiting, but the implementation of the "first half month salary" requirements is very controversial. First of all, Baoneng Automobile as a whole is in a state of stagnation. It has just experienced large-scale layoffs before, and now it has started recruiting in large numbers. What is its intention? Secondly, Baoneng Automobile's salary arrears have become the norm. Under this background, instead of giving priority to repaying employees 'wages, the notice of "paying half a month's salary first" is issued to attract more people to join Baoneng Automobile. This operation is bound to make employees dissatisfied.

In addition, the entry "first half month salary" does not mean that the salary can be paid normally. At present, Baoneng Automobile has been executed with a total amount of 3.539 billion yuan, which has been listed as the person who has been executed for breach of trust for many times. On August 30,305 employees of Baoneng Group were fined RMB 50,000 Yuan by Human Resources Bureau of Luohu District of Shenzhen City for failing to pay their salaries from March 2022 to April 2023 in full and in time according to law.

Like Evergrande Xu Jiayin, Yao Zhenhua is always unwilling to give up the dream of building a car. In addition to the acquisition of Qoros, Baoneng Group also acquired Changan Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co., Ltd., renamed Shenzhen Baoneng Automobile Co., Ltd., and put into production DS9 models. In addition, Baoneng Automobile also launched BAO, Youbaoli and other new brands, but the above brands have not yet achieved mass production on the market.

Despite his ambitious goals, however, he was "in a precarious situation."
