Brand sales of new energy vehicles were released in the latest week from October 16 to October 22.

Judging from the ranking of the list, the top three car companies in weekly sales are BYD, Wuling and Ian respectively. Among them, BYD continued to top the list with weekly sales of 51900, while Wuling and Ian sold 9400 and 9300 respectively.

Specifically, in the latest week from Oct. 16 to Oct. 22, BYD's top-selling models were seagulls (8000), dolphins (6000) and Qin PLUS DM-i (4600), which ranked first, second and fourth, respectively. In addition, Yuan PLUS and Song PLUS DM-i ranked second and fourth in SUV weekly sales list with 6800 and 4200 vehicles, respectively.

Wuling and Ian both surpassed ideal cars in the new week, and the reason why Wuling's sales are growing so fast is related to the popularity of Wuling colorful fruits. Data show that the new week Wuling colorful fruit sales of 4900 vehicles, Wuling Hongguang MINIEV is 4300. According to Automotive Industry concern, Wuling Colorado is SAIC GM's first "large space five-door pure tram", positioning a small car, one level higher than Wuling clear Sky and Wuling MINI EV. On Sept. 25, the Wuling colorful fruit 410km continued version went on sale at a price of 88800 yuan. Official figures show that 2300 cars have been sold in just six days on the market.

According to statistics, Wuling colorful fruit has sold a total of 126174 vehicles since it went public in March, of which 24650 were sold in September, up 22.10% from the previous month. From the sales performance of Wuling colorful fruit since its listing, as a brand-new model, the hot sales performance is indeed quite bright, which is basically comparable to the initial stage of Hongguang MINIEV listing, and the car has become another popular style "magic car" after "Hongguang MinIEV".

SAIC GM Wuling official said in an interview with the media: "from the feedback of the market, the sales of long-range 330km models account for more than 70%, and consumers are more willing to choose products with higher range." With the launch of the Wuling colorful fruit 410km model, Wuling colorful fruit monthly sales are expected to increase by 3000-5000 vehicles, and the next month sales are expected to be 23000-25000 vehicles.

Ian also had a good sales performance in the new week, with 9300 vehicles. At present, GAC Ean's sales mainly come from AION Y and AION S models, with weekly sales of 4800 and 3800 respectively. In addition, Haopin GT, the first production car under Ian's new energy brand, went on sale in July, launching a total of five models with a price range of 21.99-339900 yuan. In September, "Haopin GT" added two new models, both priced at 259900 yuan, with two power configurations on the power. the maximum motor power is 180kW and 250kW, respectively, and the maximum torque is 355Nm and 430Nm. It is expected that the new car may continue to boost Ean sales.

In addition to the top three of the list, the "outstanding" performance of the entire list is the ideal car, which has fallen to the fourth place in the new week, overtaken by Wuling and Ian respectively. In contrast, the previous week, ideal car ranked second on the list with weekly sales of 10600 vehicles. Previously, ideal Motor Chairman and CEO Li wanted to point out that monthly delivery of more than 40, 000 vehicles may be achieved in November this year. So far, in addition to the ideal L9, L8 and L7 models, the latest flagship model MEGA will also be officially launched in December this year, which may further boost the sales of ideal cars.

Xiaopeng, also a new force in car building, returned to the list in the new week, ranking seventh with weekly sales of 4700 vehicles, while Ulay ranked eighth with 4400 vehicles.

In addition to the above-mentioned car companies, Tesla's sales in the new week increased from 7500 to 8200 compared with the previous week, but still ranked fifth on the list. It is understood that the old Model 3 model sold out at the end of the third quarter, which means that only Model Y can be delivered, so it may affect Tesla's total delivery to a certain extent.

On October 19th, Tesla's official website officially changed the Model 3 refurbished version from the pre-sale state to the sales state, of which the rear wheel drive refurbished version starts at 259900 yuan and the long-lasting all-wheel drive new version starts at 295900 yuan. The pick-up cycle of the new car is expected to be 6-9 weeks. Tesla will start the delivery of the first batch of vehicles at the end of October, and the test drive will arrive at the stores one after another at the end of the month.

Among the top 10 car companies, Volkswagen is the only foreign brand on the list, with sales of 5500 vehicles in the new week, ranking sixth. Among them, Volkswagen ID.3 is 2800.

According to the latest data from the Federation of passengers, the market for new energy vehicles sold 472000 vehicles from October 1 to 22, an increase of 42 per cent over the same period last month and 4 per cent over the same period last month. With the "Golden Nine and Silver Ten" coming to an end in 2023, car companies may speed up the marketing pace in order to achieve the sales target, and the promotion efforts may also be increased.
