It is understood that Avita 07 positioning medium-sized SUV, is Avita's third brand-new product, compared with the current sale of Avita 11 and 12, the new car in power to provide pure electric and plug-in range hybrid system two options, the new car is expected to go on sale in the third quarter of this year, the price may be in the range of 25-350000 yuan.

In terms of appearance, the front face of the new car adopts family-style design style, and the front face is equipped with split headlights and double "C" type LED daytime driving lights, which is very eye-catching in visual effect. The Guantu model is an extended version of the model, the air intake is located in the lower enclosure of the vehicle, while the air intake of the pure electric version adopts a closed design, the whole vehicle is both fashionable and futuristic.

The new car has smooth lines on the side, with a straight waistline running from the front wing to the rear door handle, a side window waistline sloping upward, a new generation of roof lidar on the roof and 21-inch eight-spoke rims below. In terms of size, the new car is 4825/1980/1620mm in length, width and height, and 2940mm in wheelbase, which is smaller than Avita 11 as a whole. For comparison, the length, width and height of Avita 11 is 4880/1970/1601mm, and the wheelbase is 2975mm; the length, width and height of Tesla Model Y is 4750 / 1921/1624mm, the wheelbase is 2890mm; the ideal L6 is 4925/1960/1735mm, and the wheelbase is 2920mm.

In the rear part, the overall shape of the new car is full, designed with slender taillights and surrounded by black rear lights. In addition, the new car also uses a conventional rear window design, which is different from the existing Avita models, with the words "Avita" and "07" at the rear to further increase the recognition of the new car.

In terms of power, the new car offers two options: pure electric and plug-in extended range hybrid system, which is also the first time that Avita has launched an extended range version. At the same time, both the pure electric version and the extended range version of the new car offer rear-drive and four-wheel drive forms, but the detailed parameters have not been officially released.

Avita Technology Co., Ltd., formerly known as Changan Lailai New Energy Automobile Technology Co., Ltd., was established on July 10, 2018, and changed its name to Avita Technology on May 20, 2021 to become the brand of Changan Automobile. Jointly built by Changan Automobile, Ningde Times and Huawei. On August 24, 2021, Changan Automobile officially launched the Avita brand, positioning high-end car brands, in which Changan Automobile is responsible for vehicle design and production, Ningde Times is responsible for battery supply, and Huawei mainly carries out in-depth cooperation with HI (Huawei Inside) mode, providing full-stack solutions including intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving.

At present, Avita has a total of Avita 11 and Avita 12 models, both of which are based on the intelligent electric vehicle network platform (CHN) jointly developed by Changan, Huawei and Ningde. The first model, "Avita 11", was launched in August 2022 and is positioned as a pure electric medium-sized SUV with a price range of 34.99-409900 yuan. the four-wheel drive model is equipped with Huawei DriveONE three-in-one electric drive unit, maximum power 425kW, maximum torque 650N ·m, battery suppliers from shareholder Ningde Times, 555km and 680km under CLTC operating conditions. Avita 12 listed in November 2023, positioning luxury medium and large pure electric cars, the price range is 30.08-400800 yuan, providing rear-drive and four-wheel drive versions, in which the rear-drive maximum power 230kW, the four-wheel drive motor maximum power before and after 195kW, 230kW, equipped with ternary lithium battery pack provided by Ningde era, the mileage is divided into 650km and 700km.

Retail data show that in the first quarter of this year, Avita Technology sold 7763 vehicles, of which Avita 12 was 4421 and Avita 11 was 3342.

As a high-end car brand of Changan Automobile, Avita shoulders not only the mission of building cars, but the most important thing is the transformation of new energy in Changan, but compared with most of the new car-building forces in China, the pace of Avita's new products is not fast. Avita originally planned to launch four new models in 2025, of which two new models will be released in 2024 to complete the strategy and planning goal of "four cars in 2025" ahead of schedule.

From the positioning of Avita 07, it is expected that after the launch of the new car, the extended range model will compete with ideal L6 and M5, while pure electric models will compete with standard Tesla Model Y, Xiaopeng G6 and other models. As for the joint endorsement of Changan, Ningde era and Huawei, whether Avita can shoulder the banner of Changan new energy development still needs more time to give the answer. But according to the current sales situation, Avita is still under a lot of pressure.
