According to the insurance figures, SAIC GM Chevrolet sales totaled 125900 vehicles from January to August in 2022, down 23.13% from a year earlier. All the models are equipped with 1.3T turbocharged engine with a guide price range of 13.99-179900 yuan, but the consumer awareness is low, and the sales of this model in China continue to be depressed. According to the data, the cumulative sales of Chuangjie from January to August were only 653 vehicles, down 54.97% from the same period last year.
As a blockbuster model in the Chevrolet compact SUV market, Xingmai Luo is obviously more sincere than Chuangjie models in terms of appearance, size, interior decoration and power. at present, Chuangjie sales remain low, and Xingmai Luo can directly replace its market and compete with Xiaoke, Fenglanda, Tuyue and other models. In terms of price, Chuangjie sells for 13.99-179900 yuan, Fenglanda for 12.58-169800 yuan, and Tuyue for 15.86-216600 yuan. However, from the perspective of the current market, the main competitive pressure of Xingmai Luo is not the joint venture brand, but the independent brand. Changan CS75 PLUS, Geely Xingyue L and other models of the same level are larger in size and cheaper in price. What kind of achievements can Xingmai Luo deliver? Of course, for Chevrolet, which is already in the doldrums in the compact SUV market, the launch of Star Milo can still save a lot of share, at least the increase in sales should be very obvious, as for whether it can compete with other models such as Xiaoke, Tuyue, Changan CS75 PLUS, which have been fighting for a long time in the market, it still needs market feedback.
