On July 1, the major new power brands announced the latest monthly and delivery volume in the first half of 2023 as scheduled. According to the ranking list of the "Tramway report," only Xiaopeng delivered less than 10,000 cars in June, while other car companies delivered more than 10,000. Among them, the ideal car, once riding off the dust, ranked at the top of the list of new car-building forces in China with a delivery volume of 32575. Xiaopeng was at the bottom, delivering only 8620 in June.

From the first half of 2023, ideal car is still at the top of the list, and the cumulative delivery volume in the first half of the year has exceeded that of 2022, while Xiaopeng Motor fell 39.99% from the same period last year to the bottom.

Data show that Xiaopeng delivered 8620 cars in June 2023, a year-on-year drop of 43.64%, making it the brand with the highest decline on the list, with an increase of 14.84% month-on-month. According to the analysis of the previous six months, Xiaopeng delivered a total of 41435 cars, down 39.93% from the same period last year, which is also the brand with the worst decline on the list. For comparison, in the same period last year, Xiaopeng ranked first in both monthly and semi-annual deliveries, but is now at the bottom of the brand.

So far, Xiaopeng car models on sale include Xiaopeng P7, Xiaopeng P7i, P5, G3i, G9 and G6, of which the G6 is the latest model launched by Xiaopeng. It launched a total of five models on June 29, with a price range of 20.99-276900 yuan, with two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, equipped with electric tail and lidar, and will be available for Standard Tesla Model Y.


As for whether Xiaopeng can fight a "turnaround" in the second half of the year? From the analysis of the current product structure of Xiaopeng, Xiaopeng G3 and P5 have entered the middle and end of the product, and the competitiveness of the pure electricity market at the level of 10-200000 is gradually weakening, while Xiaopeng G9 is also facing challenges at the sales end because of its relatively high price. This also means that Xiaopeng P7i and G6 models will to a large extent become the support of Xiaopeng car sales. Of course, he Xiaopeng also has high hopes for the Xiaopeng G6. In the Wei Xiaoli camp, NIO delivered 10707 vehicles in June, up 73.96 per cent from a month earlier, but down 17.39 per cent from a year earlier. The Tramway report believes that the return of delivery to 10,000 vehicles in June may be related to the price reduction of the model. On June 12, Xilai officially announced that it would adjust the rights and interests of users and the price of all models, abolish the free replacement of electricity for life, adjust the vehicle warranty period from 10 years to 6 years or 150000 kilometers, and reduce the price of new cars by 30, 000 yuan. Throughout the list, the ideal car is undoubtedly the most eye-catching performance on the list. Data show that a total of 32575 ideal cars were delivered in June, an increase of 150.12% over the same period last year and 15.20% month-on-month. This is the first time that ideal cars have delivered more than 30, 000 vehicles this year.

According to the official website, ideal cars on sale currently include ideal L9, L8 and L7 models. According to official data, monthly delivery of ideal cars this year shows a monthly growth trend, with a total delivery of 139117 vehicles from January to June this year, an increase of 130.31% over the same period last year. Based on the ideal car's annual sales of 300000 vehicles at the beginning of the year, the completion rate of the ideal car in the first six months was 46.37%. In sharp contrast, zero-running cars, which also focus on low-end models, performed well in June, ranking second on the list with 13209 deliveries, an increase of 17.32% year-on-year and 9.55% month-on-month, a record high for delivery. But if you scale up the time to the previous six months, zero-running cars are still down 14.41% from a year earlier, delivering only 44502 cars. Zhu Jiangming, founder and chairman of Zero Motor, once said: "if Zero's sales don't go up in 2023, there will be no hope behind it."

Interestingly, zero-running cars officially posted a poster on Weibo today, showing that in the second quarter of this year, when the competition became increasingly fierce, zero-running cars firmly ranked second among new power car companies in terms of risks in the past two months. Zero-running C11 has finally become a real popular style after two years of market test. Official figures show that more than 11600 zero-running C-series models were delivered in June, accounting for more than 87% of the total number of Ting C11 cars delivered, which officials say has become the first place in Class B new power SUV.


In addition to the new power brands, other new energy vehicle brands also release sales. Among them, GAC EA directly started the galloping model in the 10-200000 pure electric market, delivering 45013 vehicles in June, an increase of 86.7 per cent year-on-year. Judging from the sales performance in the first six months of this year, GAC Ean's cumulative sales in 2023 reached 209300 vehicles, an increase of 109 per cent over the same period last year. According to the plan, the annual sales target of GAC Ean is to guarantee 500000 vehicles and compete for 600000 vehicles, with a target growth rate of more than 84.5%. Based on 500000 vehicles, the completion rate of GAC Ean in the first half of the year is 41.87%, and it is expected that it is more likely to achieve the annual sales target.

Skyworth delivered 3258 vehicles in June, an increase of 190.42% over the previous month, and a total of 9927 vehicles were delivered in the first half of the year.
